HBA show looks at health, wellness and beauty: awards, education, products and packaging innovation take center stage at the health and beauty aids exhibition |
From Sept. 28-30, all eyes in the beauty industry will be on HBA Health & Beauty America. As the leading barometer of what's new and what's next in the beauty world, HBA provides industry professionals with a comprehensive educational and product forum featuring the latest trends, technologies, ideas and solutions for growing their businesses and staying ahead of the product development curve.

Renowned as a launching pad for innovative products and services, the show will offer attendees scores of new announcements ranging from the latest skin and hair care formulations to unique packaging materials and dispensing designs.
HBA Health & Beauty America boasts its largest exhibit floor space to date--more than 200,000 square feet--with more than 575 international companies exhibiting at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. Attendees will be surrounded by hundreds of marketing and production solutions; ideas for new products and services; and strategies for improving existing products. Raw materials and ingredient suppliers, formulators, natural and active organics, dispensing, packaging, contract manufacturers, private labels and finished goods companies--the biggest names in the beauty business--will converge at HBA.
What's new, what's next
HBA's conference program features educational programs and seminars for industry professionals from formula to finish. The program has been expanded this year to focus on the trends and marketing diversity facing the cosmetic, fragrance and personal care industries. INSIDE BEAUTY, for example, will provide information on the convergence of health, beauty and wellness. This dedicated track focuses on the growing markets for cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals.
Beauty guru and former president and CEO of Unilever's U.S. business operations, Charles Strauss, kicks off HBA's conference program with a keynote address on Tues., Sept. 28 at 9:00 a.m. In addition, 19 seminars, 10 product development courses and three display/nutraceutical presentations are slated for this year's conference.

Honoring innovation, career achievement
HBA's third annual Industry Awards dinner will be held on Tues., Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the New York Hilton.
Keeping with tradition, annual package design awards are also on the dinner's line-up. Winners in seven categories will be announced for their achievements in packaging design and innovation.
